Dr. Shulman is awarded a grant from the National Institutes of Health / National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. The project, "Functional Validation of Parkinson's Disease Susceptibility Genes in Drosophila," will use fruit flies to define genetic mechanisms underlying disease risk.
