Laurie Robak, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the department of Medical and Human Genetics department at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Robak received her B.S. in Biology and Psychology from Canisius College (Buffalo, NY) and completed an M.D.-Ph.D. at the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY). She combined clinical residency in Medical Genetics/Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Robak is currently pursuing clinical-translational studies to identify novel genetic risk factors for Parkinson's disease. She is the recipient of an NIH K08 award and the Parkinson's Foundation Clinical Research Award.
