Elizabeth Kowalis is a Research Technician in the Laboratory for Integrative Functional Genomics. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston, where she gained research experience in Drosophila studying ethanol sensitivity and tolerance. Lizi is participating in genetic modifier screens using fly models relevant to both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
