Matea Pavešković is a Ph.D. Student in the Shulman lab and jointly in the laboratory of Ben Arenkiel, and a member of the Neuroscience Program at Baylor College of Medicine. She received her B.A. in Neuroscience (The College of Wooster, Class of 2018). In her research, she investigates the mechanisms by which genes identified through genome-wide association studies (GWAS) contribute to risk of late-onset Alzheimer's disease using mouse models.
