Dr. Rami Al-Ouran is a postdoctoral fellow and data analyst in the Laboratory for Integrative Functional Genomics and jointly in the laboratory of Zhandong Liu, Ph.D. (Neurological Research Institute and Baylor College of Medicine). Rami received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Mutah University, Jordan and both the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Ohio University. For his Ph.D., he developed bioinformatic and related computational methods for dissecting regulatory genomics. He is currently designing a database and web-based tool for exploration of genomic, epigenomic, and transcriptomic features of Alzheimer's disease, including integration of data from human cohorts and experimental animal models.
