Meigen Yu

Meigen Yu
Meigen.Yu@bcm.edu

Meigen Yu is a graduate student in the Laboratory for Integrative Functional Genomics and a member of the Graduate Program in Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine. She received B.A.s in psychology and piano performance at Case Western Reserve University, and during this time pursued neuroscience research related to degenerative and regenerative processes in mouse models of disease and injury. Meigen's current research involves using Drosophila to study genes implicated in Parkinson's disease pathogenesis and alpha-synuclein toxicity.
